What are Student-led NSOAs?
Student-led New Student Orientation Activities (NSOAs) 2026 should be approved by the Vetting Panel of Student-led Activities and meet the criteria below:

Steps for Participating in Student-led New Student Orientation Activities (NSOAs)
Student-led
- Initiated, led and implemented by student organisers
- Under the guidance and support of staff appointed by the corresponding Custodian Unit of the student-led NSOAs
Categories and Objectives
- O-Days/ O-Nights/ O-Camps
- Correspond with the objectives of the student organisation/ non-formal learning
- Facilitate new students’ adjustment to university life
- Contribute to building campus community identity
- Develop students’ social interaction and problem-solving skills through organising/ participating in the activities
Period
- 19 Aug to 30 Sept 2026
Location
- Within Taipo Campus of The Education University of Hong Kong
Participants
- Normally new full-time undergraduate and higher diploma level students admitted in 2026/27
- Participation by alumni and outsiders requires prior approval from the University

Enrolment of Approved Student-led NSOAs 2026
To enrol the approved student-led NSOAs 2026, follow the steps below:
- Visit the Student-led Activities System (SLAS) and log in with your student email address and password. Check out the New Students Information Sheet on IT Services if you are not sure what your account and password are.
- Browse the home page of SLAS to look for approved student-led NSOAs 2026.
- Click the activity you are interested in, and you will then be able to view the relevant activity information and organisers’ details, and enrol in the activity.
